Praescient Analytics is seeking an ETL Engineer to support DOD & DHS customers in the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia Area.

This position requires an: ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, configure and administer ETL processes for large scale data warehouses using Datastage (IBM InfoSphere)
- Use DataStage, Talend, or Informatica to create validation process to validate data conversions
- Maintain and monitor Unix file system for ETL projects
- Work with system owners to resolve conversion errors
- Support Schema Modeling for data ingestion
- Create SQL scripts/queries for data verification
- Monitor testing and ensure defects are being entered, tested and closed
- Document and maintain testing results and test logs
- Enable restoration of ETL application in case of server crash or degradation
- Manage internal client needs and expectations ensuring issues are identified, resolved and escalated quickly and appropriately
- Communicate known problems and fixes to team members and other technical groups
- Provide remote “off hours” support as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with demonstrated academic achievement in Computer Science, Database Warehousing, or Database (DB2) expert technical experience.
- In-depth knowledge of DataStage (IBM InfoSphere) or Talend, or Informatica, Unix and Linux
- ETL experience (3-5 years)
- DB2 experience (3-5 years)
- API integration experience
- Must have appropriate clearance level
