We are seeking a Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) Information Operations (IO) Electronic Warfare (EW) Specialist Planner and Role Player to support the Army’s 1st IO’s Command located in Ft. Belvoir, VA / Alexandria, VA / Metro Park. Your purpose is to develop exercise-related operational scenarios and replicate Electronic Warfare Subject Matter Expert, which IO Field Support Team (FST) work with during a deployment. Accordingly, an MRX IO EW Specialist Planner/Role Player performs the duties referenced below.
What you can expect to work on
• Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment of Electronic Warfare into information operations; integration with inter-agency and intelligence community; and provide key cultural considerations that affect operational and tactical planning.
• Replicate the EW Subject Matter Expert Role Player during all MRX executions.
• Assist MRX design, data collection, and Master Scenario Events List scenario, and inject development. Required products include e-mails; orders; briefings; reports; images; scripts; intelligence; and related electronic files.
• Participate in extensive MRX MSEL inject review and rehearsal sessions to identify errors, omissions, and inconsistencies.
• Assist with editing, refining, and re-rehearsing injects.
• Execute the EW Role Player role IAW the MRX MSEL injects, scripts, and time-lines. This includes attending Staff meetings, working groups, planning sessions, and ad-hoc face-to-face meetings.
• Provide written and verbal lessons learned regarding all phases of the MRX.
What we expect from you
• Army, Navy, or Marine Corps Electronic Warfare Specialist
• At least 12 years of relevant EW Military operational experience
• Detailed knowledge and application of IO and how to integrate EW into planning process
• Practical application of the military and joint decision making processes (e.g., MDMP, MCPP, JOPES), SOF planning processes, Army/Joint Targeting, IPB, Intelligence cycle
• Ability to interact and facilitate small groups to conduct planning, coordination, data research, analysis, and information requirements development in support of Information Operations and related exercises
• Working knowledge/application of Military Deception planning
• Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, research and planning skills
• Sound knowledge of Army collective training doctrine, methods, and regulations
• Experience in handling and marking classified material
• Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Desired Skills:
• Preferred knowledge of the Middle East and other CENTCOM and US AFRICOM areas of operation
• Deployment experience strongly preferred
• Former Army, Navy, Marine Corps MISO Specialist
Degree:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
Clearance Requirement:
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly if required
