Praescient has extensive experience designing, developing, and integrating solutions for customers including the US Army, Special Operations Command (SOCOM), US Navy (USN), US Marine Corps (USMC), US Coast Guard (USCG), Department of Justice (DOJ), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), intelligence community, and local law enforcement agencies, among others.
Praescient Analytics is in search of an onsite Configuration Engineer who will be Esri’s day-to-day representative to STRATCOM’s J2 directorate in direct support to STRATCOM’s national mission to defend the Homeland against strategic attack. The candidate must understand Esri’s full ArcGIS Enterprise stack and be the onsite expert employing ArcGIS capabilities to meet STRATCOM’s mission. The candidate must be capable of troubleshooting installations and configurations while working in a fluid, operations-driven environment that will require flexibility, independent problem solving, collaboration and teamwork.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- Active Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI Poly.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, GIS or related fields preferred.
- Security+ Certification
- 5+ years of recent experience with ArcGIS Enterprise.
- 5+ years of experience deploying and configuring ArcGIS Enterprise
- Experience with Windows Server 2016 or later
- Experience configuring/troubleshooting Microsoft IIS 7 or later.
- Capable of troubleshooting installations and configurations, aiding the site System Administrator with ArcGIS, and be the onsite expert on ArcGIS capabilities and functions.
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise-associated APIs and SDKs, and enabling technologies at the following levels:

Desired Qualifications:
- Systems Administration experience, especially with ArcGIS.
- Agile software development experience, especially with recent versions of JavaScript and Python
- Experience with Authentication mechanisms (PKI, SAML, OAuth)
- Experience (1-2 years) with: WebApp Builder, Dashboard for ArcGIS, JS Testing frameworks, NPM, or Build/Automation frameworks
- Esri ArcGIS certifications
- Experience in Intelligence, Systems Engineering, Software troubleshooting, SQL/PostGreSQL databases, software installation/configuration, NIST RMF
- Software Verification, Validation, Testing or Evaluation experience
- Experience with collaboration toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub)
- Experience with analytical research tools, software and resources within the Intelligence Community (IC)
- Familiarity with USSTRATCOM organization and processes
