Praescient Analytics is seeking a talented Senior ETL Developer with solid ETL experience with Informatica PowerCenter development and related components technologies (ETL Designer, etc.) to support an IRS contract. Must have experience in creating, maintaining, and optimizing stored procedures, functions, SQL and ETL processes. Requires familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle, specifically Agile, and able to independently participate in each phase.
Responsibilities:
This role will support the Return Review Program (RRP), a mission-critical, automated system that is part of the IRS’s tax processing pipeline component which detects and selects potentially fraudulent returns to prevent/stop the issuance of invalid refunds. RRP maintains an integrated data warehouse that stores return data and taxpayer information for data mining, runtime scoring, scheme development and research. It incorporates multiple analytical techniques to detect anomalies for fraud and non-compliance, allowing RRP to improve the analytics each Filing Season to help the IRS identify increasingly sophisticated tax fraud. Must be willing to work during Production maintenance hours and provide on-call support.
This position can be supported remotely. U.S. citizenship is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Active MBI (MUST HAVE)
- 7+ years working with Informatica PowerCenter development and related components technologies
- 3+ years using Rational Team Concert or equivalent toolset
- Demonstrated Control-M experience (for ETL developers)
- Hands on Greenplum or similar Database Experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical
