Praescient Analytics is seeking a Project Manager - Navy Modernization to support Project Overmatch, a critical U.S. Navy initiative focused on advanced networking, AI/ML integration, and warfighting capability enhancement. The ideal candidate will provide programmatic oversight, ensuring successful execution of cost, schedule, and performance goals. This position will be based in San Diego, CA with a requirement to onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Lead program management activities across multiple integrated teams.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, risk management plans, and cost estimates.
- Assist with DoD acquisition lifecycle processes, including program execution and sustainment planning.
- Support financial tracking and reporting, leveraging Navy ERP and eCRAFT systems.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement with NAVWAR, NIWC, and Fleet Operators.
- Prepare and deliver briefings, program documentation, and status reports.
- Implement Agile project management practices to optimize performance.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in DoD program/project management.
- TS/SCI level clearance (active or eligible).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle, risk management, and financial planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in briefing senior leadership.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Navy modernization, software development, or AI/ML programs.
- Familiarity with NAVWAR, NIWC, and DoD acquisition processes.

Salary at Praescient Analytics is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $88,000.00 to $140,000.00 (annualized USD).
