Praescient Analytics is in search of a Technical Analytics Manager to support the mission of the Offices of Inspectors General (OIG), the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC) has established the Pandemic Response Center of Excellence (PACE) for the purpose of conducting data analysis and visualization; sharing leading practices; providing tools and services; and providing investigative intelligence. The mission of the PRAC is to promote transparency and conduct and support oversight of covered funds and the Coronavirus response to (1) prevent and detect fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement (FWA&M); and (2) mitigate major risks that cut across program and agency boundaries. As part of this mission, the PRAC works with Federal Inspectors General (IGs) to develop recommendations on measures to prevent or address fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement; provides support in conducting investigations, audits, and reviews relating to the covered funds and Coronavirus response; and refers matters for criminal investigations. This position can work remotely or on-site. This position is full time and does not allow for moonlighting.
Required Qualifications:
- Shall have five (5) or more years of hands-on experience leading analytic projects using leading edge fraud analytic tools and best practices.
- Shall have five (5) or more years of hands-on experience designing analytic approaches, managing model development and testing efforts and conducting thorough quality control
- Must have five (5) or more years of hands-on experience using data sciences to detect and prevent fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement.
- Must have five (5) or more years of hands-on experience coding rules and models using open-source programming techniques and tools.
- Shall have five (5) or more years of tracking project progress and identifying and mitigating risks and issues associated with delivering projects on time and at a high level of quality.
- Shall have five (5) or more years of conducting thorough review and quality control on contractor support teams’ work products before analytic models and insights are finalized
- Strong oral and written skills are required.
