At Praescient Analytics, we are passionate about building products that solve our clients’ hardest data problems. As a Systems Administrator, you will assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of physical and virtual system environments to host software systems that our teams develop for the federal government. You will work with development teams to suggest physical and virtual system environments to support application needs. Additionally, you will design, deploy, configure, and maintain systems and environments within Amazon AWS. You will influence organizational practices for System Administration and DevOps at the project level and within company-wide communities of practice. You will communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.
 

What we are looking for:

• Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (required)
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in related field
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical field
• Experience with Amazon AWS (Creating/modifying) AWS Instances from AWS Tool Set
• Windows and Linux System Administrator (Windows being primary)
• Windows Networking / Firewall Configuration
• Windows Group Policy knowledge
• Public Key Infrastructure (Key Management and troubleshooting)
• Working with DISA Software Technical Implementation Guides (STIG’s)
• Windows Registry in depth knowledge
• Associated products for familiarity
  • Trellix (Formerly McAfee) security suite
  • Tenable Nessus
• Windows Patching policies and configuration

Qualifications that are a plus:

• Linux System Administration
• HCL BigFix Enterprise suite
• HCL BigFix Relevance Programming Language
• Strong organizational skills
