We have an immediate opening for a 2nd Battalion (BN) Cyber Support Detachment (CSD) System Administrator to support the 1st IO Command at Fort Belvoir, VA. As a System Administrator, you will assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of physical and virtual system environments to host software systems that our teams develop for our customer. You will work with development teams to suggest physical and virtual system environments to support application needs. You will influence organizational practices for System Administration and DevOps at the project level and within company-wide communities of practice. You will communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher and 3+ years of IT experience or a High School Diploma and 7+ years of IT experience
- One DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III Certification like CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
- An Army DoD 8750 accepted Windows (Microsoft 365) Computing Environment (CE) certification or Linux+ (CE) certification
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
- Active TS/SCI level clearance (must have)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Linux Environments
- Experience provisioning and sustaining network infrastructures and have experience developing operations and management networks required to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN enabled environment.
- Experience with NiFi, HA Proxy, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, and Elastic Search
- Experience with Certification & Accreditation processes
