Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to provide support to the Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA) Office of Job Corps. The program will provide performance-related policy recommendations, WIOA reporting, data reporting, data integrity audit functions, data systems, statistical and analytical support, risk management tools, surveys, research, evaluation, and technical assistance.
Job Corps is a national residential training and employment program established to address the multiple employment barriers faced by opportunity youth throughout the United States. The program provides comprehensive career development services to students, including academic, career technical training, independent living skills, career readiness and success training, and support services. The intent of this unique combination of Job Corps’ services is to prepare youth for obtaining and maintaining gainful employment, pursuing further education or training, or satisfying entrance requirements for careers in the Armed Forces. This position will allow for fully Remote delivery.
Praescient Analytics, LLC is a Veteran-led, certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) founded in 2011 which specializes in implementing advanced analytics solutions across the defense, intelligence, and law enforcement communities. Praescient has extensive experience designing, developing, and integrating solutions for customers including the US Army, Special Operations Command (SOCOM), US Navy (USN), US Marine Corps (USMC), US Coast Guard (USCG), Department of Justice (DOJ), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), intelligence community, and local law enforcement agencies, among others.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement evaluations of DOL programs;
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and analytics support to ongoing evaluations;
- Oversee evaluation design and execution;
- Participate in field and remote data collection and analysis;
- Create data visualizations and other analytical products;
- Provide relevant technical guidance on evaluation design;
- Ensure evaluation meets all Department of Labor guidelines and policies
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five (5) years of Data Analysis experience
- Experience with Excel, SAS, and Tableau.
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
- A U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing and testing social and behavioral science interventions in social welfare or enforcement programs, preferably related to the programs and activities of the Department of Labor, that are intended to improve their effectiveness;
- Active Public Trust Clearance
- Masters Degree from an accredited university
